Khalifa Gems, is a family-owned and operated gem business in Sri Lanka for many decades. Our ancestors had the privilege of supplying quality gemstones to jewelers, gemstone collectors, general customers and astrologers. Khalifa Gems, is now focusing on attaining our international clients' demands and providing utmost professional support to our valued customers. We have our own Research & Development team and we also collaborate with Gem Corporation in Sri Lanka and leading gemstone testing laboratories, to ensure that the product supplied are original, authentic and genuine.
We are a officially registered company (KO/DS/AD/E/16/2022/12872) and a licensed dealer (20228DL10156) with National Gem and Jewellery Authority (NGJA) of Sri Lanka. Mr. Mohammed Tajideen (B.A.) is the Chairman of the company. He is a gemologist, minerals collector and a business leader with over 40 years of extensive experience in gem industry. He has a strong relationship with the best gem miners in Sri Lanka, which leads him in buying rough gemstones directly from the different mines and converting them into beautiful piece of fine gems. That is the reason, our gemstones carry affordable price tags for every customers.

Our gemstone inventory a combination of stocks owned by Khalifa Gems as well as from our 10+ partner gem dealers in Sri Lanka, which brings us the ability to cater to any types of gemstone requirements. Through our inspired gemstones collection process, our gemstones are consciously mined from different mines, and we get them cut and polished at our affiliated lapidary units.
Gemstones that is available on our platforms already comes verified by our well qualified team, however we can go to the next level by getting any gems certified by any recognized local or International testing labs which will ensure the authenticity of the gemstones before you purchase, if required.

We strictly do not sell synthetic / laboratory made or any sort of artificial stones. We have an impeccable reputation, a commitment to customer satisfaction and high standards of quality control on every product sold.
Please be aware that you may see very cheap price labelled with some gemstones in different online platforms / e-commerce sites and you will be wondering how this could be possible?. These are probably lab-created / synthetic gemstones and they have very little to no resale value. That means if you buy a lab-grown gems, you won't be able to reap any part of what you paid for it. This type of gems are crystal-like; you can see 'into' and sometimes 'through' the gemstone. Lab-created gemstones have very vivid colors.
Almost always, natural gemstones / earth-mined gems will have some type of inclusion or color differentiation (diluted colors). Only the most expensive and rare natural gemstones exhibit the vivid colors. Each earth-mined gem carries unique value with them. Every one of our gemstones is one-of-a-kind. Nothing we sell has a quantity above one. This means each item is one of a kind, one in stock, and when it is sold it cannot be replaced. We sell one of a kind, every time.

Sometimes our some of the gemstones could be available in Dubai other than in Sri Lanka. This happens due to business travels and rounds of exhibitions. At this juncture, your ordered gemstone will be delivered to your place without any shipping charges. Cash On Delivery is also available at the time. For Cash on Delivery, please have the exact amount available for the courier. It will save your time.
